do you know what Your Adult STUDENTS WANT?
There was a time in higher education when one size fits all was true. What was appropriate for a residential 18 to 23 year old student, was appropriate for a 38 year old, single mother who worked full-time. Many colleges and universities realized that one size does NOT fit all. Adult students have changed the face of higher education. They need things done differently; they want schedules and services built around their busy, adult lives. And they demand not only high quality in their programs, courses, and faculty, but also relevance in all three areas. They are a demanding group and want to know: why must I learn this? Could you tell them why?
